Juventus have been linked with a swoop for promising young Greek midfielder Kostas Fortounis.

The former Olympiacos youth player currently turns out for Asteras Tripolis in the Greek Super League and has already begun to turn heads, with scouts from across Europe being spotted regularly amongst the crowd for the club’s home games.

Old Lady general manager Beppe Marotta is believed to be negotiating with Asteras Tripolis for Fortounis, but has already run into an issue. Juventus would like to take the player on loan, with the right to make the deal permanent should the young Greek impress in Italy.

Asteras Tripolis however, would rather cash in on the midfielder now, and have asked Juventus for €1M for the 18-year-old’s services.
