Kevin Gameiro has been warned that a switch to Valencia may not be the best move for his career by France boss Laurent Blanc.

The Lorient striker is pondering between joining Valencia or Paris Saint-Germain and has promised to make his decision in the next two weeks. Gameiro has appeared to be leaning towards Los Che after admitting that he preferred the Spanish league.

But France national team boss Blanc has warned that a glamour move abroad may not be in his best interests just yet.

"Kevin has a choice to make from Lorient. He has to use his sporting judgement, I’m not going to be in his place", said Blanc.

Coming down on the side of PSG though, Blanc commented that: "A big French club is not uninteresting", and warned about the dangers of moving to La Liga.

"Going abroad is not that easy.

"You arrive with a big reputation as a goalscorer. If after three months you do not score a goal there is no gift.

"If he feels strong, he can eventually join a club abroad."
