Jose Mourinho has finally snared the services of Portuguese full back Fabio Coentrao.
Real Madrid worked hard to find a deal acceptable to Benfica and have now completed the signing of the 23-year-old.
Coentrao has cost Los Blancos €30M, an amount equal to that the Spaniards paid FC Porto for the services of Pepe in 2007.
Following the agreement of terms between the two clubs, Coentrao underwent a medical in Madrid and has put pen to paper on a six-year deal at the Bernabeu.
Mourinho had been effusive in his praise for the Portugal international since the end of the 2010/11 campaign, believing he will represent a crucial piece of his Real Madrid jigsaw.
