Hamburg winger Eljero Elia has dismissed any possibility of leaving the Bundesliga club for Juventus, instead declaring an interesting in moving to either Arsenal or Chelsea.

The Dutchman was the subject of a recent bid from the Bianconeri that Hamburg were quick to reject, stressing they had no need to sell the 24-year-old. And Elia has not agitated for a switch to the Serie A giants.

But while the Holland international may not be keen to move to Italy, he insists that things would be different if either Arsenal or Chelsea made an approach for his services.

"Hamburg told me they had rejected an offer from Juventus, but I did not care", revealed Elia to the Hamburger Morgenpost.

"I’m not interested in moving to a team on the same level, as they [Juventus] are not a better team than Hamburg.

"If we talk about Arsenal or Chelsea", added the former FC Twente star, "then my reaction would be different."

Elia has garnered much interest from the English Premier League over the last year and Liverpool came close to signing the winger in January.

Whether either Arsenal or Chelsea will answer the Dutchman’s call this summer remains to be seen.
