Inter midfielder Thiago Motta has added further fuel to the fire over talk of a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

Motta has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Parc des Princes, but Inter appear reluctant to sell the 29-year-old.

The player himself has made mixed noises about leaving the Nerazzurri and had appeared to rule it out completely recently. PSG however are proving too tempting for the Brazilian to drop thoughts of the French capital entirely.

"The transfer window closes in eight days, anything can happen, but I’ve already discussed this with the president [Massimo] Moratti and [Claudio] Ranieri and we’ll see", said Motta.

"Paris? It’s a beautiful city, but I am at Milan."

Asked whether he thought leaving Inter for PSG would put a national team spot at risk, Motta replied: "I don’t think so.

"But I repeat, I am at Inter now, but we’ll see."
