Fulham midfielder Pajtim Kasami has admitted he is flattered to have received interest from Juventus, but does not feel now is the right time to leave the Cottagers.

Kasami only signed for Martin Jol’s men last summer, making the switch from Italian outfit Palermo.

Juventus though still have positive memories of the 19-year-old’s time in Serie A and have continued to keep a watch on his development.

The Bianconeri then tried to firm up that interest in the transfer window last month – Kasami though did not want to leave Craven Cottage so soon after pitching up.

"I’m honoured to have received an offer from Juventus, a great club", the Swiss midfielder to Blick.

"But this is the middle of my first season with Fulham and I don’t want to leave at the moment.

"Of course, lately I haven’t been playing and I’m not happy about this, but I prefer to stay and try to establish myself."

Kasami is under contract with Fulham until 2015.
