The agent of Lazio defender Luis Pedro Cavanda claims that his client is wanted by a number of clubs, of which one is English Premier League outfit Aston Villa.

Cavanda is looking to learn about what Lazio have in mind for his future, though a switch cannot be ruled out for the 22-year-old if it suits all parties.

And his representative has insisted that the Belgian starlet has no shortage of suitors.

"In the next week we will meet with Lazio to plan Cavanda’s future", Ulisse Savini told LaLazioSiamoNoi, before hinting the defender would like his contract improved.

"Which clubs have looked at Luis? Several, as I said. Aston Villa for example, they are following him with interest."

Lazio snapped up Cavanda from Standard Liege’s youth academy in 2010 and have eased him into their first team after loan spells at Torino and Bari.

So far the right-back, who can also at a push play right along the backline, has made 12 appearances in Serie A this season, as well as seven in the Europa League.
