Italian side Roma have sacked Zdenek Zeman as coach.
The Giallorossi went down to a damaging 4-2 defeat at home against Cagliari last night and that proved to be the final straw for the club’s board, who have acted to relieve the veteran boss of his duties.
Under Zeman, Roma conceded 42 goals in Serie A, the second highest tally, although they did score 49 goals.
Roma are nine points behind a Champions League spot, sitting eighth in the standings.
