Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is full of praise for team-mate Philippe Coutinho after his outstanding assist helped the English international find the back of the Aston Villa net on Sunday in their Premier League game.
The Reds came from behind to beat their opponents 2-1 at Villa Park, courtesy of goals from Henderson and skipper Steven Gerrard. One of the best moments of the game was the 20-year-old Coutinho’s run to provide a brilliant pass that helped Henderson slot the ball into the goal for Liverpool.
"It was all about the ball from Philippe which was outstanding and I thank him for that one.
“Philippe is brilliant and I think everyone can see that. He’s a real talent and he’s young as well. He has been outstanding since he came into the team and hopefully he can keep that going”, Henderson told his club’s official website.

“Hendo”, as he is fondly called, also praised his skipper Steven Gerrard after he netted the winner, via his successful penalty shot, as well as for a miraculous goalline clearance later to deny Christian Benteke with the score at 2-1.
"It was unbelievable. Stevie was outstanding again for us and he’s been doing that for many years now so it’s not a surprise to anyone."
The Reds stay seventh in the Premier League table, three points behind sixth-placed Everton.
