The agent of Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell has confirmed that Real Betis wish to extend the loan of his client.
Campbell is currently on loan at the Spanish side from Arsenal and Betis have been pleased with his development and contribution this season.
Now Pepe Mel’s men, who are working on a partnership agreement with Arsenal, are keen to keep hold of Campbell into 2013/14.
And while Campbell’s agent explained that his client is happy in Spain, he did take the time to point out that sooner or later he will return to Arsenal.

"It is true, Betis want to extend the loan", Joaquim Batica told Spanish daily Marca.
"Currently nothing has been decided, but the Gunners have been asked.
"My client is happy in Seville, but sooner or later he will go back, because he is an Arsenal player."
The 20-year-old has featured 22 times for Betis is La Liga so far this season.
Campbell has hit the back of the net twice and provided three assists.
