Arsenal will be forced to shell out €100m if they want to secure Montpellier’s rising star Remy Cabella, according to the French club’s deputy chairman Laurent Nicollin.
Cabella, who has spent nearly four seasons at the Ligue 1 club, has attracted the Gunners’ interest following the midfielder’s 14 goals from 74 games in all competitions.
His tally includes six Champions League appearances as well, and 2012 Ligue 1 champions Montpellier are determined to hang on to their talented 23-year-old.
Arsenal have had an easier time of recruiting from Montpellier in the past, with their acquisition of Olivier Giroud, but Nicollin was quoted as telling Radio Monte Carlo: "[Cabella] is not transferable.
