Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda has revealed that he is aiming to play in the Champions League next season and wants to move to England or Germany.
The 23-year-old Moroccan international arrived at the French club in 2003 as a youth player, and lifted the Ligue 1 title with the club in the 2011/12 season.
However, his dreams of playing among Europe’s elite in the 2013/14 season faded after Montpellier finished ninth in Ligue 1 this term.
He made 37 appearances under coach Rene Girard this season, and scored and assisted 12 times and six times respectively.

“I want to go to England and Germany. I think I’m done with this kind of football”, he told L’Equipe.
“I am looking forward to more physical and technical football, and want to take risks.
“My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I can also sign for a club that would be a good experience."
Belhanda has been subject to interest from Italian giants Inter Milan, English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, and even Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce.
He has also insisted that he is not keen on joining any other club in France.
“I don’t want to play France anymore, as I cannot learn anymore here."
The former France Under-20 international has a contract with Montpellier until June 2014.
