Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has insisted that he will continue with the club and is looking forward to adding the best players this summer within the allotted budget.

The Danish tactician’s future with the Swans was placed in doubt after the Welsh club cut ties with the manager’s agent, Bayram Tutumulu, following a dispute over transfer policy.

Laudrup’s future at the Liberty Stadium was already uncertain due to his dissatisfaction towards the club’s transfer funds, but he has explained that he is ready to strengthen the squad within the available budget, and he is not keen on commenting on his agent’s situation, as it is the club’s business.

"If the club do not want to work with him, or Bayram does not want to work with them, it’s their problem not mine”, he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"The only thing I care about is to have the best players possible at Swansea who are within range of the economy of the club.

"I have 100% confidence in Bayram, but if the club don’t want to work with him or he doesn’t want to work with them, they have to live with that.

"It will not change my relationship with Bayram one centimetre.”

Laudrup signed a contract extension at the Liberty Stadium in March, thus securing his future until June 2015.

He guided the Swans to bag the League Cup this year – their first-ever major trophy in England. The Welsh side also finished in the top of half of the Premier League this season.

The 48-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs, which includes French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
