Valencia centre-forward Roberto Soldado has no intention of leaving the Mestalla any time soon, adding that he is looking to "respect" his deal with the Spanish club.

Los Che brought in Soldado from fellow La Liga side Getafe for €10m during the summer of 2010 as the Mestalla outfit looked to replace David Villa, who was on his way to Barcelona.

The €10m has proven to be money well spent for Valencia. Indeed, Soldado has since then made a total 141 appearances for the club in his three-year stay, scoring 82 goals along the way.

Furthermore, Soldado’s most productive campaign with Los Che came last season, where he scored 30 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions, a major factor in helping Valencia reach the Champions League Round of 16 as well as finish fifth in La Liga, clinching Europa League football in the process.

And such feats are bound to attract suitors. True enough, Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a swoop for the striker last summer and could opt to revive their interest in a few weeks’ time. Atletico Madrid were also tipped to make a move for Soldado as they look to replace Radamel Falcao.

But Soldado has waved away the speculation. "It’s nice for big clubs to have interest in me. [But] I’m under contract with Valencia and I want to respect that contract", he was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.

Soldado, however, has maintained that he is still dreaming of an eventual move to greener pastures if given the opportunity, with England and Germany close to his heart.

"I really like the Premier League and the Bundesliga. They are major competitions that every player like me would want to try", the Valencia hitman said.
