Mario Gomez’s agent has insisted there is quite a fight under way for the Bayern Munich striker, with Fiorentina, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Juventus all keen on his client.
Fiorentina are thought to have had the green light to hold talks with Gomez ahead of a potential €20m transfer for the Germany international.
But the road is not clear for La Viola, with a number of other clubs, all of who can boast Champions League football for 2013/14, interested in Gomez.
"Fiorentina are not the only interested club", Gomez’s agent Uli Ferber told German daily Bild.

"There’s also Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.
"When he comes back from holiday we will evaluate what is the best solution for Mario."
Gomez slipped down the pecking order at Bayern Munich last season, with Thomas Muller and Mario Mandzukic finding themselves preferred by then-coach Jupp Heynckes.
And this summer the Bavarians have been tipped to complete a swoop for Borussia Dortmund hitman Robert Lewandowski.
