At long last, AC Milan will already have some of the funds necessary to bring Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez to the San Siro, with Rossoneri’s Robinho nearing his move to Brazilian side Santos.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has already previously revealed that the San Siro outfit would not be thinking of bringing in Tevez to their club unless they could offload one of their players in the summer transfer window.
Enter Brazilian side Santos, who may well prove to be heaven-sent for Milan. Indeed, the South American giants have made a bid for Robinho to the tune of €8.5m, something that the Rossoneri are believed to be heavily considering, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The bid, should it be accepted, and if Robinho agrees to the move, will mean the Serie A giants will then be able to do something for their desire to have Tevez wear red-and-black colours come next season.

Apart from the transfer fee, Robinho’s departure will also clear Milan €400,000 every month from their wage bill, as Robinho’s salary carries that amount.
Tevez, for his part, has already made public his uncertainty when it comes to his future with Manchester City, and the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini to the Etihad Stadium dugout may well add strain to that.
Tevez’s contract with the Eastlands giants is set to expire come the end of next season.
