Borussia Dortmund are planning fresh contract boosts around the club with Nuri Sahin being considered for a permanent move.
Sahin is currently on loan from Real Madrid and according to Kicker, Borussia Dortmund will look to extend that cooperation in what his Sahin's second temporary spell at the club.
His contract with Real Madrid is set to run out in 2017, and he has played just 10 times for the Spanish giants since moving there in 2011.
Sahin's loan will run out next summer, but Borussia Dortmund are understood to have the option of buying him for €7m, with sporting director Michael Zorc saying: "We have one hand on the wheel."
Borussia Dortmund yesterday announced that Jurgen Klopp had been given a contract extension until 2018, and securing Sahin will, no doubt, be a further boon.
The 25-year-old, who spent time on loan at Liverpool as well last season, was unhappy with the amount of game time at Real Madrid and chose Germany in January.
Sahin also took part in the recent Ruhr derby clash against Schalke, while his tally for Dortmund stands at 10 Bundesliga games this term.
