Valencia are prepared to offload midfielder Sofiane Feghouli in the January transfer window, news which is sure to have ears burning at Arsenal and Liverpool.

Despite enjoying a superb campaign last season, Feghouli has slipped down the pecking order at Los Che in the current term, with seven of his eleven La Liga appearances so far coming from the bench.

According to Tutto Mercato, Valencia are now ready to let Feghouli leave in January for the right price – and he may have no shortage of suitors.

Liverpool were heavily linked with making a move for Feghouli earlier this year, but at the time Valencia were fiercely opposed to his departure.

The 23-year-old was also praised by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after catching the Frenchman's eye, something he declared himself delighted with.

Fending off interest Valencia managed to extend Feghouli's contract last year, but now he has slipped from favour.

The Algeria international's current deal expires in 2016.
