Paris Saint-Germain have identified three potential replacements for full-back Christophe Jallet, who has been ruled out of action for at least two months.

The wealthy French side have been ready to stay out of the winter transfer window unless a clear need to enter it arose – and with Jallet ruled out there is now a need for another full-back at the Parc des Princes.

According to French radio station RMC, Newcastle full-back Mathieu Debuchy is top of PSG's winter hit list, however it is far from clear that the English club will agree to his sale.

Debuchy joined Newcastle in the same transfer window last year, making the move from Ligue 1 outfit Lille.

Other names are under consideration, including, according to Tutto Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker and Feyenoord's Daryl Janmaat.

A key consideration for PSG is bringing in a player who will be eligible to play in this season's Champions League, something which rules out a raid on long-time target Dani Alves.
