Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has appeared to joke about striker Samuel Eto'o's age, claiming he could be 35 years old.
There has been consistent controversy and speculation over the age of several African players, with accusations having been made that former Inter defender Taribo West is 12 years older than he claimed, while Lazio youngster Joseph Minala has been claimed to be 41 rather than his stated age of 17.

Now Mourinho, in off the cuff comments carried by Canal +, seemed to joke that Eto'o could be three years older than his stated age of 32.
Asked about Eto'o becoming better over the course of the season, with Mourinho having striking concerns, he replied: "32 years, maybe 35 years, I don't know, I don't know."
Eto'o joined Chelsea last summer from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala, a club at which he had been the highest-paid player in world football.
The Cameroon hitman has scored eight goals in all competitions for Chelsea so far this season, with a stunning hat-trick downing Manchester United in a Premier League clash in January.
Eto'o's contract at Chelsea expires at the end of the season.
