AC Milan are looking at snapping up centre-back Alex from Paris Saint-Germain.

Alex sees his contract at the Parc des Princes expire at the end of the season and though he has made hopeful noises about staying, has not yet been offered an extension.

Milan are well aware of the 31-year-old's situation and are plotting a contract offer of their own for Alex.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, all that remains is for the Rossoneri to be given the green light from coach Clarence Seedorf.

Should Seedorf be keen on signing the former Chelsea player, Milan will start to put the wheels in motion on a deal.

Alex has played 23 times in Ligue 1 for PSG so far this season.
