Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has blasted the club's fans for criticising manager David Moyes and his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils were comprehensively beaten by local rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford last night, with the Citizens running out comfortable 3-0 winners in the Premier League clash.

It was Manchester United's sixth home league defeat of the season and caused a number of fans to lash out against Moyes and Ferguson. And Schmeichel is disappointed with the attitude shown.
"Sad to read that fans has turned on Moyes & SAF, I understand everyone's frustration but I don't like the reaction….", the former goalkeeper wrote on his Twitter account.

Manchester United's latest defeat leaves the club sitting seventh in the Premier League table and a whopping 15 points behind Manchester City, who are second.
The Red Devils are still in the Champions League, but face holders Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.
