Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is wanted by no less than six of Europe's biggest clubs, a group that includes Liverpool and Juventus.

Lacazette was the subject of a bid from Arsenal in the January transfer window, to which Les Gones gave short shrift, while Tottenham Hotspur also expressed an interest.

Lyon are steeling themselves for bids for Lacazette in the summer with, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, six clubs in the mix.

Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas has already insisted that the 22-year-old will stay put and is angling to renegotiate Lacazette's contract to hand him a salary increase; his deal currently runs until 2016.

However, the Ligue 1 side may find it tough to keep hold of the striker, who has scored 14 goals in 32 French top flight games this term, if big clubs come knocking.

Lyon, sitting fifth in Ligue 1 at present, will not be able to offer Champions League football next season, unlike several of the sides chasing Lacazette.
