Eintracht Frankfurt are considering rekindling their interest in Nicklas Bendtner, who is leaving Arsenal this summer.

Bendtner's contract with the Gunners expires at the end of this month and he is heading on for pastures new, in search of regular first team football which eluded him at the Emirates Stadium.

Eintracht Frankfurt were keen on signing Bendtner last summer, but found his salary demands out of reach, while Arsenal then decided to keep hold of the Denmark international when they could not sign another striker before the transfer window slammed shut.

Now, according to German daily Bild, Die Adler are looking into a fresh approach for Bendtner.

However, Eintracht Frankfurt have another option under consideration, in Schalke star Adam Szalai.

Szalai bagged seven goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances last term.
