Armand Traore has signed a new extension with Queens Park Rangers which will keep him at the club until 2016.

Harry Redknapp’s side achieved promotion to the Premier League by beating Derby County in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium in May.

Traore joined the London side from Arsenal in 2011 and his contract was supposed to expire this summer.

However, the 24-year-old has signed a new two-year extension and is ready to play in the Premier League again next season.

The Senegalese made 24 appearances for QPR last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
