Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini is willing to sell a big name player in the summer to get his hands on Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.

The former Manchester City boss is a big fan of the player and is keen to reunite with the Ivorian at the San Siro at the end of the season.

While his interest is believed to be genuine, Inter’s proposed €15m bid for the midfielder is not expected to create any flutters at the Etihad and the Italians are also not on a financial footing to afford Toure’s €10m wage demands either.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is also not interested to sell the player in the summer, but despite all the obstacles, Mancini remains keen and he is plotting various ways to take Toure to Milan at the end of the season.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Inter boss is ready to sacrifice a big player at the end of this term to finance the veteran midfielder’s move to the San Siro.

Mancini believes Toure’s experience at the top level would be handy as he looks to build a new Inter team that can challenge for the top honours in Italy again.

While Manchester City remain reluctant, it remains to be seen whether the player wants to leave England if Inter manage to cobble together an acceptable financial offer in the summer.
