Alexandre Lacazette's agent has given hope to his client's suitors by insisting that talk the Lyon striker is going to Paris Saint-Germain is not accurate.

The French striker struck 27 times in Ligue 1 this season and has been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal and PSG, amongst others. It was claimed today that Lacazette has an agreement with PSG and will continue his career at the Parc des Princes.

But his agent has quickly let it be known that such reports are wide of the mark, with his client having no agreement with PSG.

David Venditelli told French radio station RMC: "I will not spend my time commenting on false information published by the wrong people."

PSG are thought to have made signing the 24-year-old striker a priority for the summer transfer window, but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is determined that Lacazette is going nowhere.

The president brushed off talk of a bid from Liverpool recently by pointing out that the Reds are not in the Champions League next season, while Lyon are.

Aulas also questioned whether Liverpool can afford his star turn.

"Liverpool have not called and which European Cup do they play in? They have neither the means [to afford Lacazette] nor the interest", the president explained.
