Crystal Palace and West Ham are ready to meet Roma's €15m asking price for striker Mattia Destro, but could face opposition from Monaco, while the player is unconvinced at present.
Destro spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, but failed to live up to the Rossoneri's expectations and Roma are now looking to offload the striker for the right price.
Once dubbed Italian football's next great hope, Destro could end up playing his football outside his homeland next season.
Indeed, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, both Crystal Palace and West Ham have signalled that they would be prepared to meet the €15m asking price for Destro which has been demanded by Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini.
The striker himself is unsure on joining either English side, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is an admirer of the player and could provide an acceptable Premier League destination, has not yet made his interest concrete.

For Destro, a more agreeable destination may be Monaco and the principality side have spoken to the player's representatives on two occasions.
Further developments on Destro's future are expected over the next 48 hours, however the Italy international does appear to be edging closer towards the Roma exit door.
