And he has gone on to feature in six games for the Scottish giants across all competitions – the Championship, the League Cup and the Scottish Challenge Cup.

The defender has also notched an assist in the Championship as his side sit atop the league standings with a perfect record after the first ten rounds of games.

“Looking forward to game tonight against Livingston at Ibrox. Let's get another win to take us through to semi's! [sic]”, he wrote, as he posted a photograph.

Rangers have been unable to land the Challenge Cup  in their past three attempts and will be eager to finally add the trophy to their cabinet this season.

Meanwhile, Ball will be eager to grab the attention of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino during the course of his loan stint and stake a claim in the Spurs line-up upon his White Hart Lane return.
