Rangers manager Mark Warburton has refused to rule out signing players on a pre-contractual basis when the transfer window opens in January.
Warburton is in the market to make additions to his squad in the winter window, but wants to limit his business to a maximum of two signings for fear of destablising the dressing room.
However, with Rangers already expecting to be back in the Scottish Premiership next season, Warburton could agree pre-contracts with players which see them arrive at Ibrox in the summer, thereby actively planning for next term without rocking the boat.
He was asked about whether he will look to sign players on pre-contracts at a press conference today and was coy in his response.
"We look at whatever contracts are best for Rangers Football Club. So whatever they are, Bosmans, they will be what's best for Rangers Football Club", Warburton said.
