Tottenham Hotspur had scouts in the stands at Anderlecht's match against Mouscron-Peruwelz yesterday, according to Belgian daily Standaard.
The north London side's representatives saw Anderlecht run out 2-0 winners in the Belgian top flight match, during which a familiar face scored both goals.
Indeed, Andy Najar, who was on trial at Spurs in 2011, hit the back of the net on both occasions for Anderlecht.
Najar spent two weeks on trial at Spurs in 2011, but the English club were not sufficiently convinced of his quality to sign him on a permanent basis.
Spurs' scouts will have been keen to run the rule over Anderlecht's danger men ahead of Thursday evening.
