Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has insisted his side are not concentrating on title challengers Hibernian, ahead of the Gers’ trip to Stark’s Park to take on Raith Rovers.

Mark Warburton’s men currently sit at the top of the Scottish Championship, having amassed 40 points from 15 league games this season and are three points ahead of second placed Hibernian.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper has cemented his place in Warburton’s starting line-up following his summer move from Swindon Town.

Foderingham believes his team don’t need to worry about the Easter Road outfit as long as they can keep getting the right results.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Foderingham said: “We don’t concentrate on Hibs, we concentrate on ourselves and all we can do is keep winning games of football and we have had a good win in the cup and a good 4-0 win in the league.

“So, we will continue to try and rack up the points and get as many wins as we can from our games, and hopefully we will stay at the top of the table.”

The former English Under-19 international reiterated that his team are not focussed on the clash against Hibernian, scheduled to be held on 28th December.

The 24-year-old insisted that the team are looking forward to winning the next game and they will concentrate on Hibs when the time comes.

“We don’t concentrate on Hibs.

“They are a good side and they have done fantastically well.

“They are three points behind us and we concentrate on ourselves.

“There is a big game coming up against them, but we have a couple of games before that.

“So we concentrate on them and try and get the wins and focus on Hibs when the game comes."

Warburton’s men take on fifth placed Raith on Saturday and will be looking to widen the gap at the top of the Scottish Championship.
