Crystal Palace have lodged an enquiry for Norwich City midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu, who is also on the wanted list at Marseille.
The midfielder could move on from the Canaries this summer and recently admitted he would be keen on a switch to the Stade Velodrome.
Marseille have decided to move for Mulumbu, but are presently working on other priorities before switching their attention to the midfielder.
However, the French giants may have to press the accelerator as, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Crystal Palace are showing interest in the Norwich man and have lodged an enquiry.
Marseille coach Franck Passi is keen to have the 29-year-old at the Stade Velodrome, but competition from the Eagles may complicate matters.
