West Ham United have put former Marseille coach Michel at the top of the list to replace Slaven Bilic if he cannot turn things around at the London Stadium.
While Bilic enjoyed a hugely successful season with the Hammers last term, leading the club to a finish of seventh in the Premier League, the current campaign has been in marked contrast so far.
An early exit from the Europa League, before the group stage, was a sign of things to come and the Hammers currently sit in 17th spot in the Premier League, just one point above the drop zone.
It has been claimed West Ham are already considering their options in the event they have to sack the former Croatia coach.
And according to Spanish daily AS, former Marseille boss Michel is at the top of the London club's shortlist, though they are not the only Premier League side eyeing the Real Madrid legend.
