France national team coach Didier Deschamps has advised Manchester United and Real Madrid linked Kylian Mbappe to continue at Monaco to develop further.

The 18-year-old forward has taken European football by storm with his performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League this season and has been a key reason behind Monaco’s performances in domestic and the European front.

Goals in France and Europe have also attracted the attention of some of the major clubs of European football, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City all interested in the young French forward.

Monaco have already rejected an €85m offer from Manchester United for Mbappe and even Real Madrid are hoping to entice him away from the Stade Louis II in the summer.

However Deschamps, who recently handed Mbappe his debut for France, wants the young striker to continue at Monaco next season in order to play regular football and further develop.

The France boss was quoted as saying by L’Equipe: “From my experience, I’d say he should stay at Monaco for further development.”

Monaco are reasonably confident of holding on to the young forward in the summer as they feel that they could be the only club who will be able to offer him regular football next season.
