RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl has expressed his delight at having Everton loanee Ademola Lookman in his squad this season.

Everton loaned out the 20-year-old to the Bundesliga outfit in the January window for the rest of the season and the winger has made an impact by scoring on his debut against Borussia Monchengladbach last month.

The youngster has been playing more football at RB Leipzig this season and Hasenhuttl admits that with all his qualities, Lookman has been an asset to his squad since joining in January.

However, he admits that there are still things the youngster needs to work upon and conceded that due to the short time he has spent at the club, Lookman is still getting used to the tactical framework of the team.

“He is an absolute asset to our squad”, Hasenhuttl told German magazine Kicker.

“I think he has the right quality in, for example, one-on-ones.

“Due to the short time he has been here, he is still having some problems about the tactical methods and positional sense.

“We are working on that.”

Lookman played more regularly for Everton in the Europa League this season, but made just one start for the club in the Premier League.

He played just 152 minutes of Premier League football this term before moving to Germany in the winter.
