Udinese centre-back Danilo could move to Premier League outfit Watford in the summer transfer window.

The Hornets are expected to make additions to their squad in the summer as they look to go again in the Premier League next season.

Watford's relationship with Udinese could see the Italian side provide one of their additions in the shape of Danilo.

According to Italian broadcaster Premium Sport, there is a distinct possibility of the 33-year-old moving to Watford in the summer.

Danilo is a long-serving Udinese player, having joined the Italian side from Brazilian club Palmeiras in 2011.

The Udinese skipper, Danilo has made a total of 277 appearances for the Italian club.

Watford have leaked goals in the Premier League this season, conceding 60 so far, a total higher than all but second bottom Stoke City.

Now the Hornets could be set to draft in Danilo as they look to tighten up their backline.
