Chelsea will not be able to snap up Brazil goalkeeper Alisson before the end of the Selecao's World Cup campaign, the player's agent says.

Real Madrid have been chasing Alisson, but are unwilling to meet Roma's asking price, leaving Chelsea in pole position.

The European champions have turned their attention to Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois, meaning the Blues would like to welcome Alisson as the Belgian's replacement.

But the Premier League side will have to wait to do a deal as the goalkeeper's agent says his client is only focused on events in Russia.

Ze Maria Neis told Tele Radio Stereo: "Nothing will happen in the next few days.

"Alisson is 100 per cent focused on the World Cup."

Brazil are in action this evening as they try to book a spot in the quarter-finals, with Roberto Martinez's Belgium the side standing in their way.

Alisson was in fine form at club level for Roma last season and helped the Giallorossi to reach the last four in the Champions League and finish in the top four in Serie A.
