Hibernian have revealed that former star John McGinn is back at Easter Road today to watch Neil Lennon's men take on Celtic.

McGinn was a key man for Hibs last term under Lennon and Celtic tried to take the midfielder to Parkhead in the summer.

They failed however and ended up being beaten to his signature by Aston Villa.

But Hibernian have confirmed that McGinn is back at his old stomping ground today after they took to social media to post a short video clip of him at Easter Road.

McGinn will hope to witness a famous win for Lennon's side as they bid to get their season back on track.

Hibernian currently sit in just eighth place in the Premiership standings after collecting only 23 points from their opening 16 games.

A win for Hibs would move them up on to St Johnstone's coattails though, reducing the gap between the two sides to just two points.

McGinn played all 90 minutes for Aston Villa in their 2-2 draw with Stoke City on Saturday in the Championship.
