Puel is under pressure at the King Power Stadium, with speculation he could soon be shown the door by the former Premier League champions.

The Foxes currently sit in ninth spot in the Premier League standings, but lost at Wolves on Saturday to make it two league losses on the spin.

And Puel could be nearing the end of his time as Leicester boss with, according to French TV programme Telefoot, Jardim in line to replace him.

The Portuguese tactician is without a job following his exit from Monaco at the start of this season.

Jardim was sacked by the Stade Louis II club after a poor start to the campaign.
