Bale and Sergio Reguilon are expected to arrive in London together today ahead of completing their respective moves to Tottenham.

The north London club have a deal in place to sign the 31-year-old winger on loan from Real Madrid with the Spanish giants agreeing to pay half of his salary.

The winger was at Real Madrid’s training ground on Thursday.

However, according to El Chiringuito TV, the winger did not say goodbye to all his Real Madrid team-mates.

Bale’s stock at Real Madrid has been falling over the last two years and coach Zinedine Zidane does not want to involve him in his plans.

The winger played under 30 per cent of Real Madrid’s minutes in La Liga last season and was more in the news for his actions on the sidelines than anything he did on the pitch.

And his relationship with some of the Real Madrid squad may have suffered.

Bale could yet return to Real Madrid though as his switch to Tottenham is only expected to be on loan.
