Perisic won the Champions League last season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the German and European champions decided against taking up the option to sign him permanently from Inter.

The Croatian is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans and Inter are keen to move him on before the end of the transfer window on 5th October.

The 31-year-old winger has been linked with being one of Manchester United’s fall-back options if they cannot land Jadon Sancho.

They have made contact over signing him, according to German outlet Fussball Transfers, as have Everton and Leicester.

Everton have spent big in the summer to reinforce their midfield and could seek a loan deal if they want Perisic.

Leicester are also in the market for more wingers, but are on the verge of signing Cengiz Under from Roma.

Tottenham Hotspur though are claimed to have cooled their interest.

It remains to be seen whether any of the Premier League clubs make a concrete effort to sign Perisic in the coming weeks

He had a contract agreed with Manchester United in 2017, but the club failed to reach an agreement over a fee with Inter.
