Jose Mourinho could sanction departures from Tottenham before the transfer window closes on 5th October.

Tottenham have been open to offers for Aurier since the start of the transfer window, but the Frenchman is still at the club.

AC Milan decided against signing him after showing an initial interest, and he has now been linked with a move to Russia in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Aurier is being seriously targeted by Spartak Moscow and they have made a concrete effort to land him.

The Russian giants are keen to sign the defender on a season-long loan deal in the ongoing transfer window with an option to buy.

It remains to be seen if Tottenham will be open to letting Aurier depart the club on such a formula.

Tottenham are believed to be keen on a package of £20m before agreeing to let the Frenchman leave in the ongoing transfer window.
