The 20-year-old striker struggled in his first season in England and is firmly behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order of strikers at Everton.

The Toffees do not want to sell him just one year after signing him from Juventus, but Kean is pushing for a return to Italy and his former club in Turin.

Juventus are also interested in a swoop for Kean and the striker’s agent Mino Raiola is working on the move.

But according to Italian daily Tuttosport, Juventus will need to move out players from their squad to fund the move to land the 20-year-old striker.

The Italian champions need to balance the books and Everton are likely to ask for top money for a player of Kean’s potential despite his form last season.

Juventus are close to working out an agreement to let Sami Khedira go and are also open to offers to sell Daniele Rugani and Douglas Costa.

The departures would bring in the cash to fund the Kean deal and also free up space on the wage bill.

Juventus are yet to abandon the idea of taking their former striker back to Turin.
