Wilson has been linked with a move away from Anfield in the ongoing window as he is deemed surplus to requirements by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

The winger is expected to be loaned out to a Championship club, with Swansea and Derby County amongst those chasing the Welshman’s signature

Blackburn too have been linked with a potential swoop to take Wilson to Ewood Park.

However, it is claimed there is no chance of the former Premier League champions completing a deal to land Wilson.

Liverpool are looking for a good financial deal to let Wilson head out on loan and Swansea have already seen an offer knocked back due to the financial element.

And it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside giants are able to find a new home for Wison with the clock counting down on the transfer window.

Wilson has only registered one outing for Liverpool, when he made a substitute appearance in an FA Cup win over Plymouth Argyle in 2017.
