Leeds have won two of their opening four league games and went into the international break on the back of scintillating 1-1 draw at home against Manchester City.

The Whites have taken to the Premier League like ducks to water and their style of football has won hearts, with Marcelo Bielsa being praised for attacking the top tier as he did in the Championship.

Leeds will host Wolves tonight at Elland Road and are slight favourites to win, but Parker believes they will have to keep a close eye on two players from the opposition.

Podence has two assists and has combined dangerously with Jimenez in the first few weeks of the Premier League season.

Parker insisted that Leeds will need to keep those two players quiet if they want to beat Wolves tonight.

The former White said on LUTV: “Podence has been a real threat in the first few games of the Premier League.

“He operates on either side.

“And the main man for those Wolves fans is the man in the middle, Jimenez.

“He is the real focal point of how they play. He works ever so hard off the ball, but finds the back of the net.

“He is always in the right place at the right time.”

He added: “Trying to stop those two will be key to trying getting a positive result on Monday night.

“They are a big threat with assists and goals.”

Leeds could have issues at the back with Liam Cooper and new signing Diego Llorente out injured at the moment.
