Celtic came back from two goals down to get a point at Hibernian on Saturday and are eleven points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premiership table, although they do still have two games in hand to close the gap.

Neil Lennon conceded after the game that the point was not good enough and Hibernian boss Jack Ross was disappointed that his side could not get all three points.

And former Hibs man McManus conceded that he felt like Hibernian dropped two points against the Scottish champions and admits that he felt completely different when Rangers and Hibs played out a 2-2 draw in September.

He stressed at that time it looked like a point gained for Hibs as Rangers were very good, and feels that it shows the gap that exists between the two Glasgow giants at the moment.

McManus said on PLZ Soccer: “I felt coming away from that game, it was two points dropped for Hibs.

“Earlier in the season when Rangers drew with Hibs two each, I felt that was a great point for Hibs because I thought Rangers were really good.

“It was the total opposition at the weekend and I think that shows you the gulf between the two clubs at the minute.”

Both Celtic and Rangers will be in Europa League action this week with games against Sparta Prague and Benfica on the agenda.
