With the January transfer window now rapidly approaching, clubs are drawing up and finalising their recruitment plans for the window, as they look to give their seasons a key boost.

QPR and Stoke are pushing for a playoff spot this season and are looking to strengthen their squad for the second half of the campaign.

Both clubs are interested in bringing in a striker and they are not shying away from looking for solutions outside England.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, QPR and Stoke have slapped in enquires for Auxerre striker Sinayoko ahead of the winter window.

The 20-year-old striker has scored six goals in nine appearances for Auxerre’s reserve side, but is yet to make a senior appearance this season.

His performances for the reserve side have attracted the attention of the two Championship clubs.

They also have other targets in mind and it remains to be seen whether the enquiries lead to anything concrete in the coming weeks.

Sinayoko would be interested in a move to England if he receives a firm offer on his table.
