The Toffees have only one win in their last five top flight outings, losing the remaining four, with the latest blow coming in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Leeds United last weekend.

Everton are desperate to get their season back on track and are now set to travel to Lancashire to square off against Burnley, who have been struggling to get going in the current campaign with only one win in nine outings.

Allan is confident that the Everton will pick themselves up and get back to their best under Ancelotti, whose wisdom and calmness in his opinion will enable him to steer the ship in the right direction soon.

The Brazilian highlighted how his boss’ man-management skills allow him to get the best out of every player at Goodison Park where an ambition to succeed as well as joy is prevalent in abundance in the dressing room

“Carlo is someone who knows how to treat players on a day-to-day basis, which is crucial, because he manages to get 100 per cent out of the players”, Allan told Everton’s official site.

“We’re going through some ups and downs right now, but with his calmness and wisdom I’m convinced that moving forward we’ll improve.

“It’s great working with Carlo, he is a top guy, someone who manages to keep all members of the squad happy.”

Despite their recent struggles, Everton are just two points shy of fourth placed Leicester City and a win at Turf Moor would see the Merseyside giants leapfrog the Foxes to fourth in the table.
