Brands has been at Everton since 2018 and played a key role in the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti in 2019.


The Dutchman was also instrumental in landing the Italian’s top targets during the last transfer window and has played a major role in the development of the Everton squad in recent years.



But he is out of contract at Everton in the summer and for the moment, the two sides have not agreed on extending his stay.


The 58-year-old is happy on Merseyside and wants to stay at Everton and continue his job at Goodison Park.



He shares good chemistry with Ancelotti and wants to build on the work he has already done at Everton.
